
Today, Thursday morning, corresponding to 20-6-2023, Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry held a workshop on the “Intellectual Property Roadmap for the International Chamber of Commerce “ICC”.
During the opening of the workshop, the Director General of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Taha Ahmed Al-Mahbashi, explained: The importance of holding this workshop stems from the need to raise awareness of the importance of effective management of intellectual assets in the business sector in Yemen, as it has become the backbone of the national economy..as intellectual capital and intellectual property assets are the most important source for generating the real value of the company.
The workshop, whose material was prepared and presented via Zoom technology, the intellectual property expert accredited by the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Group for Intellectual Property, Mr. Abdel Nasser Radman, presented a presentation of the contents of the intellectual property roadmap to benefit from it in the development of the business sector in Yemen.
The workshop - in the presence and participation of affiliates and members of the General Federation and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry - dealt with a number of important axes, which focused on: Introducing the International Chamber of Commerce, the Intellectual Property Committee, and the most prominent contents of the Intellectual Property Roadmap.
The International Chamber of Commerce is a neutral and independent corporate entity that was established 400 years ago and represents 45 million companies in more than 170 countries around the world, with the exception of Yemen.
In this regard, Abdel Nasser Radman explained: This workshop is an invitation to the Federation to communicate with the International Chamber of Commerce “ICC” to benefit from it in the transfer of experiences.
The workshop was enriched with many interventions and discussions that expressed the participants' interaction with its vocabulary.#Fycci
