Tasks of the Construction, Real Estate and Institutional Organization Committee



Explanatory Introduction: - The tasks of the committee were first established when it was established in July 2005. She joined her duties in October 2009. To the Committee on Industry, Construction and Real Estate. Then the committee's tasks and terms of reference were amended as follows in January 2011. After separating the real estate and construction sectors from the Industry Committee:



1. Regulating the sectors that come within the scope of the committee’s work and tasks and developing and improving its work and activity, which are: construction and building and construction companies, private real estate companies, housing and residential projects companies, and real estate and land investment companies, and Engineering design firms and offices.



2. The tasks and competencies of the committee include the areas of services affiliated to its main sectors, which are: real estate services companies and offices of all kinds, and real estate promotion and marketing offices and companies. Building maintenance companies, architectural, engineering and urban planning services offices, newspapers and websites of a real estate and construction nature. Prefabricated building companies and factories, ready-mix concrete factories and aluminum factories are also considered as construction companies.



3. The Committee shall establish a division for the Arab Union for Real Estate Development in the Republic of Yemen, and it shall be a branch thereof in Yemen. The branch / division carries out its work and activities with the bodies of the Arab Union for Real Estate Development on this basis, under the supervision of the committee, and in coordination with the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in a way that provides greater efficiency. The committee shall set and approve the division’s organizational bylaw and approve any amendments made to it.



4. The members of the Real Estate Development Division - the branch of the Arab Union for Real Estate Development (Yemen) are among the members of the committee and from outside the private sector individuals working in the sectors that follow the committee in accordance with the conditions specified by the Arab Union. And members of the administrative board of the Real Estate Development Division must be members of the committee that sponsors the division and discusses the reports submitted about it.



5. Follow-up, supervision and attention to the aspects of institutional organization in all commercial, industrial and service companies and institutions of the private sector, and others. And work to be carried out in its capacity as the specialized committee concerned with these tasks and works in coordination with other specialized committees and chambers of commerce and industry.



6. Touch and know the concerns and problems: construction and building, construction and maintenance companies, private real estate companies, housing companies and residential projects, real estate and land investment companies, engineering design companies and offices, and all Majalat companies and offices Services related to its main sectors. And that according to the nature and specificity of the work of each sector or category of them. And work to remove those concerns and obstacles and solve those problems in coordination with the General Union, the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Arab Union for Real Estate Development.



7. Work on the organization and institutional, administrative and organizational development of companies, institutions and offices that follow the sectors of the Committee that come within the scope of the Committee’s work, as well as in all institutions, companies, factories, farms and economic units of the private sector through various means and means In the forefront of which are seminars, training and rehabilitation in coordination with the specialized committees and the general administration of the Federation.



8. Paying attention to the general contracting sector and removing impurities, dilemmas and problems in it. And to ensure objectivity, equality and equal opportunities for all members of the private sector.



9. The periodic meeting with representatives from sectors, groups, companies and institutions that come within the scope of the committee’s competence, and working to solve all the problems, difficulties and obstacles facing the private sector in the fields of construction, building, construction, various real estate sectors, engineering and designs And services affiliated to the committee’s sectors, and the organization and institutional building of private sector units in all economic fields.



10. Paying attention to the fields of real estate, land and the real estate registry as it is one of the economically important private sector activities. And organizing the work of private sector individuals and their companies working in these areas and solving the problems they face due to the current chaos in this sector and the problems of investment lands and others. The handling of disputes over land and the real estate registry that private sector members face is one of the main tasks of the committee.



11. Develop a program on how to achieve a better technological level for construction companies, building and construction companies and engineering offices of the private sector and work on implementing it in cooperation with the Federation and its specialized committees, chambers of commerce and industry and other private sector bodies.



12. Representing the sectors that follow the committee before the various relevant government agencies, and representing them externally in coordination with the General Federation of Yemeni Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Arab Union for Real Estate Development. As well as participating in internal and external governmental and international events related to the work and activity of the Committee, its tasks and the sectors it follows.



13. Work to create a real partnership between the sectors affiliated to the committee on the one hand, and the relevant and relevant government agencies on the other hand, on common issues. And developing a good relationship with legislative and legal institutions in order to involve these sectors in discussing legislation, laws and regulations related to their fields of work.



14. Working on holding seminars, workshops, training and qualification courses specialized in various aspects and issues of sectors that follow the committee and in the field of institutional building for institutions, companies, factories and farms of the private sector, in coordination with the General Union and Chambers of Commerce and Industry
